When your business starts to grow, things can get overwhelming…
Especially if you’re a solopreneur and are trying to balance everything at once!
So what can you do if you’re feeling like this?
How can you stop the overwhelm and start making your business #werk better for you?
As your main hype girl and operations enthusiast, I’ve got a few tips to help you overcome the overwhelm and calm your brain so you can set yourself up for success!
Let’s break them down!
Tip 1: Get organized
Before you roll your eyes at a generic statement like ‘get organized’, I’m gonna give you a few productive and tangible ways to do this!

Ya girl isn’t here to give you fluffy advice with no real takeaways- we’re here for impact, right??
So first things first, set aside some time to standardize all of your processes and then document them. Get really clear on how you do things, from onboarding clients to delivering your service, to marketing yourself!
What are the steps you take? What actions do you repeat?
Once you’ve established these, document them. I’d recommend using a tool like ClickUp to do this but anything that will get your processes out of your head and organized will do!
(P.s, if you want to choose ClickUp but it feels a bit overwhelming to set up yourself, I have some easy-to-implement and use templates you might find handy! Click here to check them out!).
Standardizing your processes is a great way to look at what is actually going on in your business so you can look at what tasks you don’t need to be doing. You can then automate or outsource these tasks.

Tip 2: Maximize your tech stack
Your tech stack is like having your own team so you need to utilize it to the best of your ability!
In other words, your tech stack can do a lot of the heavy lifting in your business and if built up correctly, it can save you a lot of time and mental space!
But that’s only if it’s set up to serve you and your business.
As a business owner, you’ll know that things can change pretty quickly, which is why it’s really important to be auditing your current tech stack frequently. I’d recommend every 6 months at least!
During the audit you want to establish what’s working well, evaluate where you’re at in your business and the support you need, and look at what isn’t working as seamlessly as it could be.
Then start changing and adding in different tools and software as necessary!

However, I get it, friend! Sometimes when you’re at the point of overwhelm, it can be really tricky to pull yourself out of it.

It works wonders because I’m taking myself out of a negative space and am doing something productive.
However, as much as I love a good dancing motivation session when dealing with overwhelm, I’ve found the best course of action is to be proactive.
And to be proactive…you need to know where to start.
So if you’re fed up with the overwhelm and don’t know how to shake it, don’t be afraid to book a one-off session with someone!
Clear that block and let someone else untangle your brain and give you a clear direction on how to move forward.
And if you want my help with this, The Systems Brain Service might be the perfect place to start! I’m here to help you untangle your brain (and your processes) so you can get clear on where to start and get your tech to #werk!

So if you’ve tried to get organized and utilize your tech stack and something still isn’t working…or you don’t have the headspace or energy to do all of this yourself, I’d strongly consider this next tip…
Tip 3: Get some support
This is your reminder that you don’t have to do everything yourself!!
Now I’m not saying you need to go and make a permanent hire, because that might not be necessary.
But sometimes, we just need some help getting unstuck and moving forward.
It’s like when I’m in a slump and am feeling unmotivated so I go and take a dance class to get myself moving and vibing again!
